Grüner See is a lake in Styria, Austria in a village named Tragöß. The lake is surrounded by forests and three mountains. The lake was popular among divers who could observe the green meadows in the edge zone of the lake particularly in June when the water is at its highest. Because of the spike in tourist visits that has occurred and expected damage to this sensitive environment, the use of this lake for all watersports activities has been prohibited since 1 January 2016.

The Murinsel, is actually not an island at all, but an artificial floating platform in the middle of the Mur river. Mur Island is in the form of a giant sea shell and measures 47 m in length. Two footbridges connect it with both banks of the Mur. The center of the platform forms an amphitheatre. The arty island was the creation of American artist, Vito Acconci who wanted the ultra-modern construction to evoke a giant sea shell.

Klippitztörl is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.642m above the sea level, located in the Bundesland of Carinthia, in Austria. The pass road is 28 km and goes south at Bad St. Leonhard from Federal Highway B78 over the pass to Lölling-Graben, where it joins Federal Highway B92 south of Hüttenberg. Salza is a stream in Styria. It originates on the mountain Traisenberg in Lower Austria and flows South of Mariazell through the Styrian nature preserve Wildalpener Salzatal. Today the water of the reservoir is used to power a small electric power plant. Downstream from the reservoir, the Salza is a favorite site for kayakers.
