Renishaw Hall and Gardens boasts 7 acres of stunning gardens created by Sir George Sitwell in 1885. The Italianate gardens feature various rooms with extravagant herbaceous borders. Barrow Hill Roundhouse is the last surviving railway roundhouse in the United Kingdom with an operational turntable. Built-in 1870. it has a changing display of steam and diesel locomotives and other rolling stock, an operational signal box, the Roundhouse Halt platform, and Springwell Branch running line. Interpretative displays using items from the Museum’s own collection bring the fascinating story of the Roundhouse and the surrounding area vividly to life.

Sheffield Manor Lodge is an important part of both English and European history. From 1573, Sheffield Manor Lodge became more than a family home-it became a royal prison for Mary, Queen of Scots who was kept in custody in the manner of a Queen. The remnant of this estate is now known as Norfolk Park. The housing estate of Manor is named after Sheffield Manor Lodge.

Norfolk Heritage Park is a Victorian park with an English Heritage Grade 2 Star listed landscape. It's a City Park close to Sheffield city centre providing great play, sport and café facilities. New visitor facilities have been constructed, including the Centre in the Park, a multi-purpose community building. The park landscape has been restored to its original Victorian character.

The Sheffield & Tinsley Canal is a canal in the City of Sheffield, England. It runs 3.9 miles (6.3 km) from Tinsley, where it leaves the River Don, to the Sheffield Canal Basin in the city centre, passing through 11 locks. The maximum craft length that can navigate this lock system is 61 feet 6 inches with a beam of 15 feet 6 inches.
