Dunham Massey Park - 4 Things to Know Before Visiting

Dunham Massey is an Elizabethan house which was extensively remodelled by John Norris in 1732-40 for the 2nd Earl of Warrington. the Garden at Dunham Massey is a great plantsman's garden with interesting historic features such as the Orangery, Pump House, Victorian Bark House and the remains of an Elizabethan Mount. The stately home was designated a Grade One listed-building on 5 March 1959.

Quarry Bank is one of Britain's greatest industrial heritage sites, showing how a complete industrial community lived. Here you can discover the story of mill workers, mill owners and how the Industrial Revolution changed our world forever. It was established by Samuel Greg, and was notable for innovations both in machinery and also in its approach to labour relations, the latter largely as a result of the work of Greg's wife, Hannah Lightbody.

Tatton Park is one of the UK's most complete historic estates.
