We were on a tight time schedule so basically visited almost all parts of the zoo in one and half hours. To really enjoy the visit, you will alteast need  two and half hours.

It is one of the large zoos in India, so you can oretty much see all your favourite animals here. Lion, tigers, jaguar, elephants, zebra, hippos, giraffe and so and so on.

There is only one African elephant here and unfortunately it looked very sick and thin. No idea why.

One of the best and huge Zoological gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodayar establised this zoo in the year of 1892 for the Royals. Furthermore after the attainment of freeedom, it was handed over to the department of parks and gardens of the state government.
