About Corno alle Scale
The Corno alle Scale is a mountain of ' Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, located in the municipality of land Lizzano in Belvedere, with the northern slope and the summit included entirely in' area of the metropolitan city of Bologna, of which it constitutes the highest altitude and part of the southern slope included in the municipality of San Marcello Piteglio in the province of Pistoia. The name derives from the singular shape of the northern wall, consisting of a series of tiered rocky cliffs.

The Scaffaiolo Lake is a lake mountain situated in the territory of the municipality of Fanano in Modena Province, in the high Modena Apennines. Its name seems to derive from scaffa , a presumably Lombard term that seems to mean a depression in the ground.
Mount Cimone is the largest relief of the northern Apennines, with a height of 2,165 meters above sea level. It is a popular ski resort in the winter. There are 31 ski slopes with a total length of more than 50 km.
