This looks like a mini Taj Mahal- shiny and grand. Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest and most popular mosque in UAE. The construction was launched by late president of UAE Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his resting place is located on the grounds of the mosque.
The mosque is visually stunning and very crowded with visitors. Women has to wear abhayas to enter and for men/ make sure that you are dressed properly. No shorts!
The whole Structure comprises of minarets and open spaces and stunning prayer halls. It is a must visit if you are in Abu Dhabi.Comments
