The lake Arpy is a lake basin of the Valle d'Aosta. It is Of glacial origin, enclosed between Mont Charvet, Becca Pouegnenta, and Mount Colmet. It has become the second most important body of water in Armenia, next to Lake Sevan. It is used for irrigation and hydropower production. The lake is fed by meltwater and four streams, and it is the source of the Akhurian River.

The Little St Bernard Pass is a mountain pass in the Alps on the France–Italy border. Its saddle is at 2188 meters above sea level. Les Arcs is a ski resort located in Savoie, France, in the Tarentaise Valley town of Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Initially created by Robert Blanc and Roger Godino, it is a part of the huge Paradiski system which is under ownership by Compagnie des Alpes, a French-listed company owning several other ski resorts as well as theme parks.

The pont d'Aël is a Roman aqueduct bridge that is located in the namesake village in the municipality of Aymavilles, in Aosta. It was built in 3 BC for the irrigation and supply of a mineral wash for the colony of Augusta Prætoria Salassorum, today's Aosta, then just founded. The bridge, located at the entrance to the Val di Cogne, a lateral valley, 66 meters above the valley floor, supports a technically advanced aqueduct, 6 km long in total.
