The Querini Stampalia Foundation is a cultural foundation of Venice based in Palazzo Querini Stampalia. Born in 1869 by the will of NH Giovanni Querini Stampalia, who, who died without direct heirs, decided to leave all his assets for the creation of an institution to which he entrusted the task of "promoting the cult of good studies and useful disciplines".
