Even if you are not interested in classical music the opera house could be a good place to visit. It is built in a way that you can walk around it and on top of it. An intention by the architects of snøhetta to make it a less elitist and more inclusive venue. 

If you like classical music you can get tickets online to see a performance. Sometimes there are also pop concerts and other events outdoors on a floating stage.

Home of the Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. The angled exterior surfaces of the building are covered with marble from Carrara, Italy and white granite and make it appear to rise from the water.
