If you like massive sword situated between the airport road and the sea this is just the place for you. There is really not much else. You can take a swim when it is warm enought or take pictures of these oversized swords. They are about 20 minute outside the city of Stavanger and can be reached by bus.

The three swords commemorate the historic Battle of Hafrsfjord which by tradition took place there in the year 872 when King Harald Fairhair gathered all of Norway under one crown. The largest sword represents the victorious Harald, and the two smaller swords represent the defeated kings.
