About Valle Vigezzo

The Vigezzo Valley or more commonly called Vigezzo Valley is one of seven valleys that branch off from the Val d'Ossola and connects the ' Italy with Switzerland. It is known as the Valley of the Painters for the historical presence of landscape and portrait painters. In the valley there are many beautiful villages: Druogno, Santa Maria Maggiore, Malesco and Re at the valley floor; Toceno, Craveggia and Villette on the slopes.

Val Grande National Park is the largest wilderness area in Italy, but also an outdoor museum of the ancient civilization of the Alps.
