This art center is outside Beirut and depending on the traffic it can take you an hour to get there. The beautiful space is run by a Lebanese-German couple and they have a large art collection that consists of Lebanese modern and contemporary art work. They run workshops for kids and adults to make their own art – mostly from recycles materials. We went for the Jocelyne Saab which was fascinating. Te couple who runs the space is very welcoming and might give you a tour to explain more about their purpose. The whole space is in the mountains in an old crayon factory which gives it a distinct character.
