Hazaribagh lake

It is situated in the heart of the town. Boating facility is available here. Hazaribagh jheel is a series of artificial lakes with seven parts all on different levels so that water spills over to the other lake through a spill channel.Hazaribagh lake is a famous tourist place among locals of Jharkhand.In comprative to famous lakes of India it is a small lake.This area is very famous because most prominent bungalows of various civil servants are there.

Mayurakshi River

Mayurakshi River is a major river in Jharkhand and West Bengal, India, with a long history of devastating floods. It flows through Jharkhand and then through the districts of Birbhum and Murshidabad in West Bengal before flowing into the Hooghly River. The river is about 250 kilometres (160 mi) long.

Topchanchi Lake

Topchanchi Lake is an interesting tourist spot in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. Situated on the National Highway 2, it is located at the Golden Quadrilateral. Dhanbad Railway Station is 37 km from the lake and Bokaro is 41 km. Though the lake is an artificial one, its green surrounding amidst forests and hills makes it an ideal picnic spot. It is also in demand for sound and serene vacations. It covers a total area of 214 acres.
