4 Wildlife Sanctuaries to Explore in Arunachal Pradesh

Eagle’s Nest Sanctuary has an elevation ranging between 500 - 3500 m. Namdapha National Park is large protected area in Arunachal Pradesh of Northeast India. With more than 1,000 floral and about 1,400 faunal species, it is a biodiversity hotspot in the Eastern Himalayas.[1] The national park harbours the northernmost lowland evergreen rainforests in the world at 27°N latitude. It also harbours extensive dipterocarp forests, comprising the northwestern parts of the Mizoram-Manipur-Kachin rain forests ecoregion.

Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary in Arunachal Pradesh, India. Talley is a plateau with dense forest of silver fir trees, pine clad plateau of beautiful grandeur, and a vast wasteland. The area has some of the most important endangered species including the clouded leopard.
