Baba Bhayaharannath Dham Chitranjan (Garam Mashala)

Baba Bhayaharan Nath Dham is an ancient Shiva temple, situated in the village of Katra Gulab Singh, on the banks of Bakulahi River. The temple enshrines a Shiva Linga and it is believed that this Shiva Linga was set up by the Pandavas at this place. As per legends, the Shiva Linga of Bhayaharan Nath was established by Bhima, after killing the demon Bakasur. Saints Shri Naga Baba and Shri Dandi Baba stayed at this place, worshipped Shiva and served this temple for many years.

Belha devi temple is an old Hindu temple in the city of Bela Pratapgarh, dedicated to the goddess Belha, the local incarnation of the Devi. Mata Belha Devi Temple at Pratapgarh is a symbol of Hindu culture and faith. The shrine located on the bank of the Sai river is an epitome of age-old tradition of Shakti worship in northern India. Belha Devi being the abode of Shiva and his consort ’shakti’ became the centre of Shakti worship.

Beautiful life sized Divine Deities of Radha Krishna and Sita Ram leave the visitors spellbound. Adjacent to it is a large dome which is another magnificent structure.

This temple is built in the forest of Kushfara, about 2 km from the Vishwanathganj market in Pratapgarh. The people of this temple are said to have deep reverence and faith. It is believed that even those who visit here only become eligible for the grace of Shani Dev. It is also considered to be very important due to the only mythical Shani Dham of the Awadh region. Every Saturday 56 types of dishes are offered to this temple.
