Butterfly Park Chandigarh

Butterfly Park is spread over an area of 7 acres, with beautiful landscaping. Special care has been taken to create a good habitat for butterflies. The park is well maintained and is home to around 35 species of butterflies, which add color to the place. A few prominent among these are Angled Castor, Ape fly, Blue Mormon, Common Grass Yellow, Common Blue Bottle, Chocolate pansy and Commander, etc. There are silence zones which are created for beautiful tiny creatures.

Capitol Complex

Capitol Complex located in the sector-1 of Chandigarh city in India is a government compound designed by the architect Le Corbusier[1] and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is spread over an area of around 100 acres and is a prime manifestation of Chandigarh's architecture. It comprises three buildings, three monuments and a lake, including the Palace of Assembly or Legislative Assembly, Secretariat, High Court, Open Hand Monument, Geometric Hill and Tower of Shadows.

Garden of Fragrance

The Garden of Fragrance was built in 1998. The garden is known for its pleasant smelling assortment of flowering plants, and hence the name, 'Garden Of Fragrance'. Some of the fragrant plants that can be found here is Raat ki rani, damask rose, motia, champa, haar shingar, mehndi and varieties of jasmine. The park also serves as a fabulous picnic spot.

HIGH COURT

The court building is known as the Palace of Justice. Designed by Le Corbusier, it and several of his other works were inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in July 2016. This is the common High Court for Indian states of Haryana and Punjab and Union Territory of Chandigarh based in Chandigarh, India.

Leisure Valley

A continuum of various theme gardens to take care of the body and spirit of the city. Le Corbusier retained the eroded valley of a seasonal rivulet on the original site of the City and sculptured it into a Linear park now over 8km long .It starts from Sector 1 in the north and leaves Chandigarh at its southern most edge in sector 53.

Rock Garden, Chandigarh

a sculpture garden founded by Nek Chand Saini, a government official who started the garden secretly in his spare time in 1957. Today it is spread over an area of 40 acres (16 ha). It is completely built of industrial and home waste and discarded items.
