Kunsthalle Mannheim is a modern and contemporary art museum housing art collections and hosting temporary art exhibitions of Mannheim city. Built in 1907, the museums own collection comprises around 1,500 works from multiple artists including Édouard Manet, Paul Cézanne, George Grosz. In addition, the new extension building constructed in 2018 shows major collection of works by Anselm Kiefer.

Gothic Revival style fairy tale castle of Württemberg. The castle was inspired by the novel Lichtenstein (1826) by Wilhelm Hauff and was built in 1840–1842. The ruins of the medieval castle that inspired the novel are a few hundred meters away. The castle is located on an escarpment that marks the northwestern edge of the Swabian Alps.

Mannheim Baroque Palace

Mountain in the Black Forest with an elevation of 1,284 m (4,213 ft) above sea level. Due to the high amount of silver mining, it was previously known as "Erzkasten" meaning "ore box". A part of an old ore mine here has been transformed into a museum. Visitors are shown a wide range of medieval tunnels and shafts from the final stages of when the mine was in operation.

Tree-covered hill of 456 metres (1,496 ft) located in the area of the city of Freiburg im Breisgau. Fortified structures had been built on the Schlossberg since the 11th century. Remains of some of them are still visible today. The tower located on the hill (Schloßbergturm) offers a unique panoramic view over the whole town and its vicinity.
