About Ranga Reddy
The district was named after the former deputy chief minister of the joint state of Andhra Pradesh, Konda Venkata Ranga Reddy. The district shares boundaries with Nalgonda, Yadadri, Hyderabad, Medchal, Nagarkurnool, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy, and Vikarabad district.

A Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A historical place with a lot of Myths and Beliefs. Exploration and Excavations were conducted by the archaeological department in the surroundings of Keesaragutta Temple. Many Remnants of Brick structures and Shiva Lingas were found on the Hill north of the temple and a hillock near the water resource.
Osman Sagar Dam
A reservoir in the Indian city of Hyderabad, which was created by damming the Muzi river in 1920 to provide an additional source of drinking water for Hyderabad and to protect the city after the great Muzi flood. It was constructed during the reign of the last NIZAM of Hyderabad state.
Ramoji Film City
It is the largest integrated film city in Telangana and has been certified by the Guinness World Records as the largest studio complex in the world. It was built by Telugu film producer Ramoji Rao in 1996. It is also a popular tourism and recreation center, containing natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park. Around 1.5 million tourists visit the place every year.
