The Cinque Torri are a small mountain complex that is part of the Nuvolau group, within the Ampezzo Dolomites, north-west of San Vito di Cadore and south-west of Cortina d'Ampezzo. The Cinque Torri, like all the mountain formations in the area, is made up of Dolomia rock, with a particular pale gray color. The complex is made up of five rock spurs and a maximum altitude of 2,361 m asl.
The Civetta is a mountain group belonging to the Zoldo Dolomites, located in the province of Belluno, which separates the Val di Zoldo from the Agordino, framing the characteristic village of Alleghe. In the mountaineering environment, it is called "the wall of the walls", on which some very famous routes run, including the Solleder-Lettembauer, the Philip-Flamm, the via di 5 di Valmadrera and other itineraries of high mountaineering difficulty.

A cable lift system starts from Rio Gere in Val Begontina, first a lift to Rifugio Son Forca at the upper end of Val Padeon.

It consists of a ridge parallel to Lake Garda that stretches for 40 km, between the lake to the west and Vallagarina to the east. The ridge is reachable through a cable car from the nearby town of Malcesine, on the shore of Lake Garda. One of the nice trekking destination and also a good view point too.

Also known as "caregon de 'l Padreterno", due to the singular concave shape at the base of the summit which makes it similar to a gigantic throne.
