Birch Memorial Clock Tower

The clock tower was constructed to commemorate James W. W. Birch, the first British Resident of the state of Perak and unveiled in 1909. It has a mother bell and four smaller bells which used to strike the chimes.

Taiping War Cemetery

The Taiping War Cemetery is the final resting place for Allied personnel who were killed during World War II, particularly the Malayan Campaign and the Japanese occupation of Malaya.
