It is an ancient Portuguese Church ruins located near the Bago River in Yangon. It is said to be the home of Christianity in Myanmar.

Holy Trinity Cathedral is the primary Anglican cathedral in Myanmar. The cathedral has historically strong connections with the British military regiments during the British ruling era.

It is the largest cathedral in Burma and was designed by Dutch architect Joseph Cuypers, son of Pierre Cuypers.
