2 Man-made Lakes to Explore in Yangon Region

Inya Lake is an artificial lake created by the British as a water reservoir between 1882 and 1883. It is a huge lake and takes about two hours to circle the lake on foot.

Kandawgyi Lake or also called as Royal Lake is one of the most beautiful attractions of Yangon. The lake was built to provide a clean water supply for the British colonial government at the time.
