Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch

Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch is a landmark on the former Route 66 at Oro Grande. The large-scale sculptures - installation of bottle-tipped metal scaffolding - erected here on private property is referred to as folk art. The facility is a "historical landmark" known far beyond the region. It addresses the resource consumption of the throw-away society .

Emma Prusch Farm Park

Emma Prusch Farm Park is a 43.5 acre park in the King & Story neighborhood in San Jose. It offers visitors opportunities for both recreation and learning about San Jose's agricultural past. The farm also has a rare fruit orchard, a deciduous fruit orchard and two community gardens, and a 6-acre urban farming project called Veggielution. In the spring, the park offers guided tours for K–3 school groups.

Eureka Valley

A beautiful valley located in the eastern California in the southwestern United States. It is a graben, like most other lower-lying areas of the Basin and Range Province. The valley has two distinguishing features. Its shape alters the wind in such a way as to collect sand near its southern end, leading to the unique Eureka Dunes. Just to the east of the dunes, the Last Chance Range climbs over 3500 feet (1070 m) as near-vertical cliffs, displaying colorful rock strata.

Feather River Canyon

This is one of the most popular scenic driving routes in the state. It's a major portion of the Feather River National Scenic Byway and serves as the lowest elevation east-west passageway through the Sierra Nevada. The canyon is the location of portions of California State Route 70 and the Feather River Route, including the Tobin Bridges.

Filoli Historic House & Garden

Filoli is a country house set in 16 acres. It was built for Mr. and Mrs. William Bowers Bourn II. Now owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, which is open to the public now.

Fisherman's Wharf

It roughly encompasses the northern waterfront area of San Francisco from Ghirardelli Square or Van Ness Avenue east to Pier 35 or Kearny Street. It is one of the busiest and well-known tourist attractions in the western United States. Other tourist attractions at the wharf include museums, souvenir stores, historical buildings, scenic vistas over the Bay and the famous sea lions at Pier 39.

Foothills Nature Preserve

This is a 1,400-acre park and nature preserve in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California. The park contains nearly one tenth of all land in Palo Alto. About 90 acres of the park are developed with amenities including a large grassy field, picnic sites, a walk-in, tent-only campground, and a nature interpretive center. Boronda lake is used for fishing, rowing, and canoeing. The park also has 15 miles of trails.

Fortynine Palms Oasis Trail

Fortynine Palms Oasis is a three-mile, out and back trail located in Joshua Tree National Park in California, with a 300-foot elevation gain in both directions. The trail starts at Fortynine Palms Parking Area, goes up and over a ridge dotted with barrel cacti, and descends to a palm oasis in a rocky canyon.The oasis is frequently used as a watering hole for bighorn sheep.

Fremont Older Open Space Preserve

This is an attractive preserve on some low hills just outside Saratoga. Its grassy hills interspersed with stands of eucalyptus trees gives it a unique ranch-like appearance. The preserve contains 14.7 miles of hiking trails, nearly all open to equestrians and bicycles. The preserve contains many miles of trails and connects with other nearby locations, such as Stevens Creek County Park and Montebello Open Space Preserve.

Garin Regional Park

Garin Regional Park is a regional park located in Hayward, California. The park is situated behind the California State University, East Bay campus, and extends south, sharing a border with Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. Summits in the park reach as high as 1,500 feet. Among the maintained trails, Garin Regional Park features several fenced off abandoned trails, some of which lead deep into the forest.

Glen Canyon Park

Glen Canyon Park is a city park in San Francisco, California. It occupies about 70 acres along a deep canyon adjacent to the Glen Park, Diamond Heights, and Miraloma Park neighborhoods. O'Shaughnessy Hollow is a rugged, undeveloped 3.6 acres tract of parkland that lies immediately to the west and may be considered an extension of Glen Canyon Park.

Goleta Monarch Butterfly Grove at Ellwood Mesa

The Goleta Monarch Butterfly Grove goes by several names including Ellwood Main Monarch Butterfly Grove as it is signed when you get there. It is located next to Ellwood Beach just west of Santa Barbara. This is one of several monarch butterfly groves in California that are home to tens of thousands of butterflies during the winter months. In November to February you can find these eucalyptus trees covered in bright orange butterflies. It is quite spectacular to see in person.

Goleta Point

Goleta Point is a cape in Santa Barbara County. It is characterized by a beach cliff, crashing waves, and a view of the Channel Islands. The rock formation is frequented by shorebirds. It is one of the iconic attractions in this area and also there are so many things to see and do.

Gower Gulch

Gower Gulch is a small gulch on the eastern side of Death Valley in Inyo County, California. It is located in the Black Mountains. Gower Gulch is visible from Zabriskie Point and is about one and a half miles long.The gulch contained mines, camps, and roads during the late 19th century and early 20th century.
