3 Boating Spots to Explore in Karnataka

One of the 20 important sanctuaries in India. The sanctuary is situated on an island that spans an area of 1.14 acres and it is surrounded by forest and river Tunga. Over 5,000 birds here during the peak season from July to September, boating can be taken for closer viewing of the nesting birds.

An integrated theme park with a wide variety of features. Presently includes a Biological Park, Arboretum, a Science Centre, a Lake Park with Boating Centre, a Water Amusement Park and a Golf Course.

Formed by an irrigation reservoir, Senapur Lake is surrounded by boulder hills. The road to the lake is through numerous paddy fields and banana plantations where you can also see locals herd their livestocks. The lake has a cliff jumping point and coracle ride spot.
