3 Zoos to Explore in Karnataka

An important base for the Karnataka Forest Department's elephants. At present, after logging operations with elephants have ceased, the elephants have been practically retired except for giving interaction activities with them to tourists.

One of the best and huge Zoological gardens in India. Maharaja Chamaraja Wodayar establised this zoo in the year of 1892 for the Royals. Furthermore after the attainment of freeedom, it was handed over to the department of parks and gardens of the state government.

A major zoo with an area of 150 acres. It houses a variety of animals in spacious enclosures and has botanical gardens and boating.
