Shettihalli Rosary Church

Built in the 1860 by the French Missionaries in India. The church is a magnificient structure of Gothic architecture. After the construction of the Hemavati Dam and Reservoir in 1960 the church was abandoned.

St. Aloysius Chapel

Built by Jesuit Missionaries in 1880 and its interiors painted by the Italian Jesuit Antonio Moscheni in 1899. The interior of the chapel is decorated with paintings that cover almost all of the walls, which is unusual in chapels in India. The paintings are preserved by the trust of the arts and cultural heritage which maintains and restores all historic artifacts.

St. Philomena's Cathedral

Recognized as the second tallest church of Asia. One of the important historical sites in Mysore. The church is beautiful and one of the most distinctive landmarks of the city.
