Brookfield Place, built and still commonly referred to as the World Financial Center, is a shopping center and office-building complex located across West Street from the World Trade Center in the Battery Park City neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.
A pedestrian mall occupying the westernmost five blocks of Fremont Street, with a barrel vault canopy, 90 ft (27 m) high at the peak and four blocks, or approximately 1,375 ft (419 m), in length. Concerts, usually free, are also held in three stages under the canopy. Each show begins by turning off the lights on all of the buildings, including the casinos, under the canopy.
Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree hosts over 180 shops, with a large bustling Food Hall. This impressive award-winning mall is described as a retail resort by parent company Brookfield Properties.Park Meadows opened in 1996 with Dillard's, and the first Nordstrom in the state of Colorado. Both Foley's and Joslins opened at the mall in 1997, and JCPenney opened in 1999. It became the largest mall in the Denver metropolitan area.
