Albany Center Gallery

Albany Center Gallery is located in the heart of Albany, New York and is a cultural hub for the city's thriving art scene. Founded in 1988, it is part of the Albany Institute of History & Art and is run by the Institute. The gallery is housed in the Erastus Corning II Tower, just one block away from the historic Ten Broeck Mansion. It is named after Stanley C. Opalka, a Polish-born artist who lived in Albany and was a leader in the contemporary art movement in the 1970s and 1980s.
