BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Atlanta, is a stunning Hindu temple complex that welcomes worshippers, Hindus and non-Hindus alike, from all over the world. The Atlanta temple was opened in August of 2007 and features detailed architecture inspired by ancient Indian lore and engineering. It is the largest Hindu mandir of its kind in the United States, at 45,000 square feet with 78 ornately carved stone sculptures decorating its exterior walls.
