Air Force Space and Missile Museum

As part of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex's "Cape Canaveral Early Space Tour," the museum is open to the public four days a week. The Air Force 45th Space Wing Community Relations office also offered free tours until June 2013.

American Muscle Car Museum

It is a private, non-profit museum located in Melbourne. It is not open to the general public. Instead, the museum is used to raise funds for charity events.

American Police Hall of Fame & Museum

Gerald Arenberg founded the museum in Florida in 1960. In 1955, a drunk driver injured him in the line of duty. He always dreamed of building a memorial commemorating all law enforcement officers who were killed in the line of duty, those who sacrificed their lives to protect, serve, and keep the peace.

American Space Museum & Walk of Fame

Titusville, Florida, is home to the American Space Museum. The US Space Walk of Fame, an outdoor plaza on the Indian River, honors both the astronauts and the NASA and contractor personnel who made the American manned space program possible.

Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge

It is part of the United States National Wildlife Refuge System (NWR). About one-fourth of all sea turtles nesting in the United States nest at the refuge.

Black Point Wildlife Drive is one of the most beautiful and unique nature spots in the area. This six-mile loop located in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge features breathtaking views of a variety of landscapes and animals. Visitors can spot numerous species including alligators, herons, ospreys, bald eagles and many more. The boardwalk also provides opportunities to explore local marshes up close without disturbing the fragile environment.

Brevard Museum of History and Natural Science

At the museum are the remains of the Windover Woman, the oldest human remains found on the North American continent. Visitors can see how Native Americans lived and how Florida pioneers survived.

Brevard Veterans Memorial Center honors the sacrifices of servicemen and women of Brevard County, Florida. The centerpiece of the Memorial Center is a Field of Honor with individual memorials representing each war veterans have served in. It also houses a library, exhibit hall and museum with artifacts and photographic displays covering veterans service from World War I to the present day. Additionally, located at Liberty Bell Park, the center holds annual ceremonies.

Brevard Zoo

More than 900 animals representing more than 195 species can be seen at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida, United States. It was founded in 1986. They wanted a zoo to serve as a "conversation hub where people could learn about animals and nature" for Brevard County.

More than 900 animals representing more than 195 species live at the Brevard Zoo. There are four loops at the zoo: Expedition Africa, Lands of Change: Australia and Beyond, Wild Florida, and Rainforest Revealed.

Canaveral Lighthouse Tour

Cape Canaveral Light is a historic lighthouse located on Florida's east coast. First constructed and lit in 1868, the current 151-foot (46 m) lighthouse tower was relocated inland between 1893-1894.

Canaveral National Seashore Playalinda Beach

The park was established by an act of Congress on January 3, 1975, on a barrier island. More than 1,000 plant species and 310 bird species can be found in the Canaveral National Seashore.

Cape Canaveral Space Force Station

In the 1960s, Cocoa Beach began its rapid growth. As a result of the U.S. space program, there was a 1000% increase in population from 1950 to 1960. NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center is located about 24 kilometers north of town. A lot of people moved to Cocoa Beach in search of new opportunities and because of jobs related to the space program.

Erna Nixon Park is a public park. There are ferns and old live oaks in the park with Spanish moss hanging from them. Several species of birds and small animals live there, including the gopher tortoise and indigo snake.
