The Northampton & Lamport Railway is a steam and heritage diesel tourist railway in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. It is based at Pitsford and Brampton station, near the villages of Pitsford and Chapel Brampton, roughly 5 miles north of Northampton. The railway is open for viewing from 10:00 to 17:00 on Sundays. Train rides are available on Sundays from March to October, diesel hauled with steam-hauled trains for special events. Open from March to October and throughout December
Welland Viaduct crosses the valley of the River Welland between Harringworth in Northamptonshire and Seaton in Rutland. Over one kilometre long, completed in 1878 and with 82 arches, the bridge is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain. The line is generally used by freight trains and steam specials.
Whittlebury Park Golf Club, Northamptonshire is a 36 hole complex with 4 loops of 9 holes; the blue, red, white and yellow courses. A private, parkland golf course designed by Cameron Sinclair 1992. It was one of the iconic attraction in this area.
