Robinswood Hill is a hill and country park to the south of the city centre of Gloucester. Two-hundred and fifty acres of open countryside with viewpoint, pleasant walks and way-marked nature trails that cover the hill. It is home to much wildlife and affords spectacular views of the surrounding area including other hills of Gloucester, the Cotswolds, Malvern Hills, May Hill and on a clear day the Severn Bridges.

Rodmarton Manor is a unique Arts and Crafts Manor House containing furniture made locally and with a stunning early 20th-century garden. The garden was laid out as the house was being built (1909-1929) as a series of outdoor rooms covering about 8 acres. Each garden room has a different character and is bounded by either walls or hedges.

One of the largest outdoor pools in the country, set in landscaped gardens within Sandford Park. The 50 metre main swimming pool as well as a childrens’ pool and paddling pool are heated to over 70 degrees. Basketball, volleyball and table tennis are also available – all included in the entrance charge. Light refreshments are available at the poolside cafe.

Stratford Park is a 56-acre park located just outside the center of Stroud, with a great range of facilities to suit all kinds of recreation. The park has won the Green Flag Award on multiple occasions by Keep Britain Tidy and also a Special Innovation Award winner for Community involvement. It was home to a fantastic arboretum and a miniature railway and so many activities are there.

The Stroudwater Navigation in the Cotswolds is an 8 mile stretch of canal with 12 locks along the route. It is a canal managed by the Cotswold Canal Trust. These are a group of volunteers who are actively working on restoring the canal to its former glory.

A majestic Grade I listed Castle located in the Cotswolds. It was the only private castle in England to have a queen buried within the grounds - Queen Katherine Parr, the last and surviving wife of King Henry VIII – who lived and died in the castle. . Tewkesbury Abbey is world-renowned for being one of the UK’s greatest examples of medieval architecture. Its striking Norman tower and long nave have dominated the Tewkesbury skyline for nearly 900 years. Tewkesbury had been a centre for worship since the 7th century. A priory was established there in the 10th century. The present building was started in the early 12th century.

Tewkesbury Museum is a small community museum dedicated to the social history and heritage of Tewkesbury in Gloucestershire, England. The museum is housed in a 17th-century half-timbered building at 64 and 64a Barton Street in property which was given to the Borough of Tewkesbury in 1956 on the express condition that it be used as a museum.

The International Centre for Birds of Prey is the oldest dedicated birds of prey center in the world, which is home to over 230 birds of prey with 3 flying demonstrations a day. For kids, there are two adventure play areas and an owl maze. We also have other activities that range from Easter egg hunts to finding out information about the birds.

Grade ll listed, the model village is a mini replica of the heart of the beautiful Cotswold village of Bourton-onthe-Water. The village was created and officially opened in 1937. See the River Windrush flow under the famous bridge surrounded by miniature trees and even music playing in the church.

Tyndale's Monument was built in 1866 in memory of the writer, William Tyndale, thought to be born nearby. He was the first man to translate The Bible into English. The monument which is 111 feet high was completed in 1866 and officially opened on 6th of November of that year. The reward for climbing the 120 steps is a wonderful view of the Berkeley Vale and the river Severn to the Black Mountains.
