The Ypres Tower is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. It has uneven floors, low doorways, uneven steps and no lift. The castle may have been used as a prison and in 1430 became the property of John de Iprys; which lead to the name Ypres Tower.

Seaford Museum is a beautiful museum which contains objects, archives and displays relating to the history of the local area.The Museum is housed in Martello Tower no. 74, which is situated at the eastern end of Seaford seafront. There is a deceptive 5,000 square feet of display area, which includes the roof with cannon, entrance floor with museum shop, the lower floor of the tower and the covered dry moat area.

The Shipwreck Museum is an independent charitable Museum set in the historic Old Town of Hastings, UK. The Museum has artefacts from many ships wrecked in the English Channel from the Goodwin Sands in Kent to Pevensey Bay in East Sussex. The museum is open every day May 1 to October 31, from 10 am to 6 pm.

West Hill Lift, is a funicular railway located in the English seaside town of Hastings. It runs largely in the tunnel, and provides access to Hastings Castle and St Clement's Caves from George Street, on the town's seafront. The West Hill overlooks the sea to the south, the Old Town to the east, and the current central business district of Hastings to the west.
