Aldershot Military Museum tells the story of daily life for both soldiers and civilians in the town since 1854. The Museum tells the story of the British Army in Aldershot, the "Home of the British Army", from the Army's arrival in the area in the 1850s to the present day. Alexandra Gardens is a pretty public garden near the River Thames in Windsor with seating, a bandstand and plenty of grassed areas perfect for picnics. There are lovely big trees and lovely colourful garden displays at various times during the year. The park is fenced on almost all sides so easy to contain small children and let them run and explore at a distance. There is a small fun fair that caters for children and I felt the rides were very reasonably priced.

Burnham Beeches and Stoke Common are located in Buckinghamshire to the West of London and are registered charities. Combe Gibbet is a double gibbet standing 25 feet high on the summit of Inkpen Beacon, about four miles south of Hungerford, but clearly visible from the town in fine weather. It marks the boundary between Inkpen and Combe and stands in the middle of a neolithic long-barrow. a gibbet is a name for any device that is used to carry out a public execution, the term gibbeting more commonly refers to hanging gallows.

Crofton Beam Engines, set in unspoiled Wiltshire countryside close to the old market town of Marlborough, is an ideal spot for exploring the Kennet and Avon Canal, with The Engineman’s Rest Café, picnic area and gift shop on site. The steam-powered pumping station is preserved and operates on selected weekends.

Didcot Railway Centre is a former Great Western Railway engine-shed and locomotive stabling point located in Didcot. It has a fine collection of over 20 locomotives, passenger coaches and freight wagons. Visitors will be able to take a trip behind one of the Great Western Railway’s steam express engines on the Centre’s demonstration line at weekends and Wednesdays.

Dinton Pastures Country Park covers just over 335 acres. The park is open daily. It has 7 lakes, 2 rivers, 3 public bird hides, and meadows, orienteering course, children's play area, countryside centre, a small exhibition and cafe. The two rivers that flow through the park are the River Loddon and the Emm Brook. It is one of the beautiful locations which provides a lot of activities around.

The Donnington Castle is a ruined medieval castle that was held by the Abberbury family from 1287. It consists originally of a curtain wall with four round corner towers, two square wall towers, and a substantial gatehouse, constructed around a courtyard in the style typical of the fortified residences of the period. The site is under the care of English Heritage and is protected from unauthorised change as a scheduled ancient monument.

Dorney Court is one of England's most uniquely beautiful Tudor Manor Houses set amidst acres of mature parkland and encircled by well-tended yew hedges.
