Jaufen Pass
Mountain Passes
The Jaufenpass or simply Jaufen is a mountain pass in South Tyrol. At an altitude of 2094 m slm, it connects the Waltental with the Ratschingstal and the extensive Passeier with the Wipptal. The Jaufental, which runs parallel to the Ratschingstal, also ends at the top of the pass. The road connecting the pass, Strada Statale 44 del Passo di Giovo, is very winding and has 20 hairpin bends.

The Lake Caldaro is the largest natural lake of the autonomous province of Bolzano. It is located in the Oltradige at 216 m in the municipality of Caldaro on the wine road, about 20 km from Bolzano. Very popular with tourists, Lake Caldaro has along its shores bathing facilities, campsites, hotels and restaurants, small ports for sailing boats. Due to its ventilation, Lake Caldaro favors the exercise of wind sports such as windsurfing and sailing.

The Karer Pass is the pass between the Rosengarten and the Latemar in the Italian Dolomites. It connects the Eggental with the Fassatal and thus South Tyrol with the Trentino. It is located at an altitude of 1752 m slm. Just below the pass in Eggental lies the Karersee. The Karerpass is one of the old crossings, admittedly it was never of paramount importance and was only used by shepherds and mules.

The Carezza Lake is a small alpine lake located in the upper Val d'Ega to 1,534 m in the municipality of Nova Levante, about 25 km from Bolzano in South Tyrol, nestled among thick fir woods, under the slopes of the Latemar massif, which is reflected in its crystal clear water. The lake is known for its colors and for this reason in the Ladin language it is also called " Lec de Ergobando. The lake has no visible tributaries and is fed by underground springs.

The Plan de Corones is a mountain in the South-Eastern Alps 2,275 m above sea level. A panoramic site that offers a wide view of the surrounding mountains, from the Dolomites to the peaks of the Alps in Val Venosta, the related ski resort is part of the Dolomiti Superski area. In July 2015, one of the "MMM" museums ( Messner Mountain Museum ) was inaugurated on the summit, commissioned by the South Tyrolean mountaineer Reinhold Messner.

The Levico Lake is a lake in Trentino. It is located in the municipality of Levico Terme, a spa town, and near the Caldonazzo lake, from which it is separated by the Tenna hill. The Lake Tenno is a lake located in the municipality of Tenno, just steps away from the medieval village of Canale di Tenno. The basin is of unique origin and was formed following the landslide of the hill of Ville del Monte which blocked the course of its tributary. The lake has an area of approximately 195,190 m² and is the sixth-largest lake in Trentino.

The Lake Toblino is a small lake alpine valley located in Trentino, surrounded by lush reeds and particularly interesting vegetation. The lake and the surrounding area have been declared a biotope for both botanical and ethological naturalistic interests, and as such is protected by the Autonomous Province of Trento. Bathing is not technically forbidden, but the low water temperature and strong currents strongly advise against it.

The Lake Tovel is a lake Alpine located in the Tovel valley, on the territory of the Anaunia Villas in Val di Non, at an altitude of 1178 m above sea level and within the Natural Park Adamello Brenta. The valley winds from the town of Tuenno for 17 km between Monte Peller to the west and the Campa massif to the east, up to the imposing rocky cirque of the Brenta Dolomites that circumscribes the upper valley, where the lake is located.

The Mendola Pass is an Alpine pass in Trentino-Alto Adige on the national road 42 of the Tonale and Mendola.
