Arch of Trajan

The Arch of Trajan or Trajan's Arch of Benevento is a celebratory arch dedicated to Emperor Trajan on the occasion of the opening of the Via Traiana, a variant of the Via Appia that shortened the path between Benevento and Brindisi. The monument, which has reached us substantially intact, including the numerous sculptural reliefs that decorate the surfaces, appears to be the best-preserved Roman triumphal arch with reliefs.

Museo Civico Villa Colloredo Mels

The Villa Colloredo Mels Civic Museum is located in Recanati. The museum is housed in a villa that belonged to the Colloredo Mels Counts, a noble family of Friulian origin. The villa, with its original medieval layout, was renovated in the sixteenth century until it obtained its current neoclassical appearance. In 1998 the Civic Museums of Recanati moved there, already in the Town Hall, with collections that include archeology and contemporary art.

Palazzo Buonaccorsi is a historic building in Macerata located in via Don Minzoni, 24. The building today houses the "Civic Museums of Palazzo Buonaccorsi" and houses the Carriage Museum, the collections of ancient and modern art, and the library "Amedeo Ricci". The sumptuous interiors cover the Baroque and Rococo styles, centering on the Great Hall of the Aeneid, with a pavilion vault frescoed with the Wedding of Bacchus and Ariadne.

Villa Imperiale Pesaro

Villa Imperiale is an ancient suburban stately home, located on the hills of Monte San Bartolo near the city of Pesaro, in the Marche region. Renaissance monument, it was built in two different construction phases between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries on a project by Gerolamo Genga. The property includes terraced and intricate Renaissance style gardens. The interior frescoes employed a number of major Mannerist painters including Dosso and Battista Dossi and so more.
