The Arroscia is a large stream in Liguria, about 36 km long, which flows in the provinces of Imperia and Savona. It was born in the Ligurian Alps in the province of Imperia from the Guardia Pass at over 2,000 meters above sea level, flowing very impetuously and encased, also forming a beautiful waterfall near Mendatica.
The Magra is a river that flows in Tuscany and Liguria, bathing the provinces of La Spezia and Massa-Carrara, the main river of Liguria by average flow rate at the mouth even if only the terminal part of its course belongs to it; along its path, the largest plain of Liguria is created. The river originates in Tuscany at an altitude1 200 m a.s.l. , between Monte Borgognone.
The Beigua Regional Natural Park is a protected natural area in Liguria in an area that extends between the metropolitan city of Genoa and the province of Savona and includes Mount Beigua. The park, together with that of the Capanne di Marcarolo for the Genoese area is the correspondent of the La Mandria natural park for the Turin area, and the South Milan agricultural park for the Milanese one, that is, all metropolitan natural reserves of the "belt".
