The Dômes de Miage is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Alps in the Graian Alps. It is located along the borderline between Italy and France. The mountain is made up of five peaks that unfold on a ridge about three kilometers long. Starting from the east and from the border with Italy is the highest peak; going west there is a second elevation.

The castle of Fénis, located in the homonymous municipality, is one of the most famous medieval manors in the Aosta Valley. Known for its scenographic architecture, with the double crenelated walls that enclose the central building and the numerous towers, the castle is one of the major tourist attractions of the Valley and one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Italy.

The Indren glacier is located in the Monte Rosa massif and extends down from the basin between the Vincent Pyramid and the underlying Punta Giordani. It has a rather regular slope, interrupted only in the middle of the basin by an imposing serac, at the point where from the glacial mantle a rocky crest descending towards the south is generated, called Cresta Rossa, which contains the glacier on the eastern side. One of the risky trekking locations and it will be a new experience.

The Paradisia alpine garden is located in Valnontey, at 1700 meters above sea level and within the Gran Paradiso national park. The garden was born in 1955 at the behest of the board of directors of the Gran Paradiso national park, with the aim of preserving and enhancing the flora of the park. The task of establishing the garden is entrusted to prof. Corti and prof. Peyronel, while the site was chosen by virtue of the favorable position that allows to the reproduction of different habitats.

The Bionnassay glacier is a French glacier located in the Mont-Blanc massif, which descends from the Bionnassay needle. It covers 4.73 km 2 and is 5 km long. It is accessed by the Mont-Blanc tramway, to the Nid d'Aigle station, then by a path. The French Bionnassay glacier should not be confused with the Italian Bionnassay glacier, which is a “tributary” of the Miage glacier.

The Giovanni Gnifetti hut is a refuge located in the municipality of Gressoney-La-Trinité, on the Valle d'Aosta side of Monte Rosa, in the Pennine Alps, at 3647 m asl. The refuge has 176 beds and is open, with overnight stay and restaurant service, from Easter to September. As long as there was the Bocchetta delle Pisse - Punta Indren cable car, hikers preferred to use this ski lift to avoid the Stolemberg section, which extended the excursion by about 2 hours.

The Gran Paradiso, highest mountain, 13,323 ft, entirely within Italy and the culminating point of the Graian Alps. It includes a large territory of high mountains, from the 800 meters of the valley bottoms to the 4,061 meters of Gran Paradiso peak. Larch and fir woodlands, wide alpine grasslands, rocks, and glaciers make up an ideal setting for the life of a rich and various wildlife and for a visit leading to the discovery of the wonderful world of the high mountains.

The Gran Paradiso Massif is a mountain massif of the Graian Alps, consisting of the Gran Paradiso and a large part of the Gran Paradiso Alps, which is located entirely in Italian territory, straddling the Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont, east of the Grande Sassière and Rutor Alps, south-west of the Emilius-Tersiva chain. The southern section extends as far as Piedmont until it reaches the Colle del Nivolet.

The Grivola is a mountain of the Gran Paradiso massif, in Graian, high 3,969 m above sea level. It is located along the divide between Valsavarenche and Val di Cogne in Valle d'Aosta between the villages of Cogne, Valsavarenche, and Aymavilles. It is the third-highest in the Gran Paradiso massif. A nice trekking destination and also this peak offers the best panoramic views of this area.

The Sundial House is one of the most famous castles in the Valle d'Aosta. It is located in the capital of Issogne, on the hydrographic right of the Dora Baltea, and appears as a Renaissance stately home, creating a sort of contrast with the austere castle of Verrès which is almost opposite the opposite side of the river. Famous are its inner courtyard, with the fountain of the pomegranate and the colorful arcades, a rare example of Alpine painting medieval.

The Blue Lake or Lake Layet is a lake with origins in the dam which is located just below Breuil-Cervinia in the Aosta Valley. Not far away is the bobsleigh track of Lago Blu, which from 1963 to 1991 hosted numerous international bobsleigh competitions. The lake can be reached by car or on foot from Cervinia in 5 and 20 minutes respectively. The real name is Lago Layet, but it is called Blue because some algae reflect these shades of color at the bottom of the lake.

The lake Arpy is a lake basin of the Valle d'Aosta. It is Of glacial origin, enclosed between Mont Charvet, Becca Pouegnenta, and Mount Colmet. It has become the second most important body of water in Armenia, next to Lake Sevan. It is used for irrigation and hydropower production. The lake is fed by meltwater and four streams, and it is the source of the Akhurian River.

The Lake Miage is a small pool of water that is located in Valle d'Aosta at 2020 m above sea level at the foot of the massif of Mont Blanc, in Val Veny. Its waters are fed by the homonymous glacier. Characteristic of the lake is the interesting and spectacular phenomenon that has occurred for over two centuries: the detachment of icebergs from the ice cliff in contact with the lake.

The lake is located under Mount Charvaz, at 2019 meters above sea level, and can be reached by chairlift from Chamois, when it is open. From here you can see all the peaks that surround the town, ranging from Cima Longhede to the Château des Dames. On the shores of the lake there is a picnic area equipped with tables, barbecues, and fountains.

The lake Gabiet is a reservoir of Valle d'Aosta. The basin is located in the Lys valley above Gressoney-La-Trinité at an altitude of 2,373 m asl and feeds the Gressoney-La-Trinité hydroelectric plant and allows the generation of 11 MW, with a production of 14.5 GWh / year. The dam that made up the lake, made by a massive gravity dam, was built between 1919 and 1922. The lake can be reached via the gondola that goes from Stafal to just below the lake.

The lake Misérin is located in the upper Champorcher valley at an altitude of 2,577 m above sea level. The church is the destination at the beginning of August of a historic pilgrimage that brings together faithful from both the Soana Valley. The lake area is a good point of view on the peaks of the valley, including the Rosa dei Banchi and Mont Glacier. The Ayasse stream takes shape from the waters of the lake and runs through the entire Champorcher valley.

The Lake Place-Moulin is located in the municipality of Bionaz in the Valpelline, side valley of Valle d'Aosta at a height of 1968 m above sea level. It is an artificial lake formed by the waters of the Buthier stream, a stream that cuts through the entire Valpelline. It is one of the largest lakes in the Aosta Valley, together with Lake Beauregard in Valgrisenche, and measures about 4 km in length. The dam, one of the largest barrages in Europe, was built between 1955 and 1965.

The Mont Avic is a mountain of Graian located on the ridge that branches off northwards from Mont Glacier. The summit is located in the Valle d'Aosta region, on the border between the municipalities of Champdepraz and Chambave, and gives its name to the park of the same name. On the summit in 1957, a Madonna was placed by some young people from Champdepraz, a gift from the Ivrea section of the CAI. One of the nice trekking destination and a good viewpoint too.

Monte Bianco di Courmayeur is the South-East shoulder of Mont Blanc with 4.765 m. It is offshore to the Mont Blanc about 800 m in the direction of Courmayeur. Despite its minimal topographic prominence, it appears as the second-highest peak in the Alps on the official list of Alpine four-thousand of the Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme for its impressive appearance and its importance for mountaineering.

The Mont Fallère is located in the Alps Grand Combin in Valle d'Aosta. The mountain, as well as with the name of Mont-Fallère with which it is designated by the official cartography of the Valle d'Aosta Region, also appears without the hyphen or as Monte Fallere [2] or Monte Fallère. From the summit, you have a panoramic view of Mont Blanc, the Grand Combin, the Grivola, and many other mountains of the Graian Alps and the Pennine Alps.
