Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey

The Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey is an Italian mountain located in the Mont Blanc massif. It is located in the Peuterey group above the arête de Peuterey , between the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey and the Grand Pilier d'Angle .

Aiguille du Goûter

The Aiguille du Goûter is a mountain of the Mont Blanc massif: located under the highest Dôme du Goûter, it is located along the normal French ascent route to Mont Blanc and just below the summit the Goûter Refuge. the summit is accessible from the Nid d'Aigle station of the Tramway du Mont.

Aiguille Noire de Peuterey

The Aiguille Noire de Peuterey is an entirely rocky summit of the Mont Blanc Alps 3773 meters high. It is located on the Italian side of the Mont Blanc Massif. The mountain is located between the Brenva Glacier and the Freney Glacier. Les Dames Anglaises separates it from the higher Aiguille Blanche de Peuterey. It represents the first part of the Peuterey ridge, which starts from the plateau of Val Veny at an altitude of 1500 - 1600 meters and rises, with various peaks, to the very summit of M

Balmenhorn

The Balmenhorn is a 4,167 m listed elevation belonging to the Monte Rosa massif in the Pennine Alps. It is particularly known because on its summit there is the Felice Giordano bivouac and the majestic statue of Christ of the Peaks. It can be seen along the road that leads from Capanna Giovanni Gnifetti to Capanna Regina Margherita. It is not commonly listed among the Alpine peaks higher than 4000 meters because it does not meet all the criteria to be considered a peak in its own right.

Dent d'Hérens

The Dent d'Hérens is a mountain of the Pennine Alps, located west of the Matterhorn, along the border between the ' Italy and Switzerland. The watershed between Valtournenche and Valpelline begins on the Italian side from the top of the mountain. On the Swiss side, the mountain dominates the Zmutt Glacier.

Dômes de Miage

The Dômes de Miage is a mountain of the Mont Blanc Alps in the Graian Alps. It is located along the borderline between Italy and France. The mountain is made up of five peaks that unfold on a ridge about three kilometers long. Starting from the east and from the border with Italy is the highest peak; going west there is a second elevation.

It includes a large territory of high mountains, from the 800 meters of the valley bottoms to the 4,061 meters of Gran Paradiso peak. Larch and fir woodlands, wide alpine grasslands, rocks, and glaciers make up an ideal setting for the life of a rich and various wildlife and for a visit leading to the discovery of the wonderful world of the high mountains.

Gran Paradiso massif

The Gran Paradiso Massif is a mountain massif of the Graian Alps, consisting of the Gran Paradiso and a large part of the Gran Paradiso Alps, which is located entirely in Italian territory, straddling the Valle d'Aosta and Piedmont, east of the Grande Sassière and Rutor Alps, south-west of the Emilius-Tersiva chain. The southern section extends as far as Piedmont until it reaches the Colle del Nivolet.

Grivola

The Grivola is a mountain of the Gran Paradiso massif, in Graian, high 3,969 m above sea level. It is located along the divide between Valsavarenche and Val di Cogne in Valle d'Aosta between the villages of Cogne, Valsavarenche, and Aymavilles. It is the third-highest in the Gran Paradiso massif. A nice trekking destination and also this peak offers the best panoramic views of this area.

Mont Avic

The Mont Avic is a mountain of Graian located on the ridge that branches off northwards from Mont Glacier. The summit is located in the Valle d'Aosta region, on the border between the municipalities of Champdepraz and Chambave, and gives its name to the park of the same name. On the summit in 1957, a Madonna was placed by some young people from Champdepraz, a gift from the Ivrea section of the CAI. One of the nice trekking destination and a good viewpoint too.

Mont Blanc de Courmayeur

Monte Bianco di Courmayeur is the South-East shoulder of Mont Blanc with 4.765 m. It is offshore to the Mont Blanc about 800 m in the direction of Courmayeur. Despite its minimal topographic prominence, it appears as the second-highest peak in the Alps on the official list of Alpine four-thousand of the Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme for its impressive appearance and its importance for mountaineering.

Mont-Fallère

The Mont Fallère is located in the Alps Grand Combin in Valle d'Aosta. The mountain, as well as with the name of Mont-Fallère with which it is designated by the official cartography of the Valle d'Aosta Region, also appears without the hyphen or as Monte Fallere [2] or Monte Fallère. From the summit, you have a panoramic view of Mont Blanc, the Grand Combin, the Grivola, and many other mountains of the Graian Alps and the Pennine Alps.

Monte Emilius

Mount Emilius is a mountain of Graian, located in Valle d'Aosta, close to Aosta. The Unité des Communes valdôtaines Mont-Émilius, which brings together 10 municipalities of the Plaine, takes its name from this mountain. This mountain was formerly known as Pic de dix heures, meaning "10 a.m. peak" in French, as the sun stands right on top of it at 10 am, or even as Pic Chamosser or Pic Chamoisier. One of the good trekking destination and also a picturesque spot.

Monte Mars

The Mont Mars is the highest peak of the Biella Alps. The Valle d'Aosta side has been included in the Mont Mars Nature Reserve since 1993. It is possible to climb the summit on the southern side starting from the Sanctuary of Oropa; the difficulty of the route is estimated as EE; alternatively, you can go up the north side starting from the Lys Valley. One of the nice trekking destination and also a good viewpoint too.

Monte Mucrone

The Monte Mucrone is a mountain of Biella Alps high 2,335 m. It is located in the Province of Biella between the Elvo Valley and the Oropa basin and the municipal boundaries of Biella, Sordevolo and an administrative mountain island in the municipality of Pollone converge on the culminating point. Like the rest of the Oropa basin, the eastern slopes of the Mucrone were included in 2005 in the special nature reserve of the Sacro Monte di Oropa.

Monte Zerbion

The Monte Zerbion, also spelled as Dzerbion , is a mountain of Alps Monte Rosa in the Pennine Alps. It is located in Valle d'Aosta along the watershed between Valtournenche and Val d'Ayas. On its top, there is an imposing statue of the Madonna. From the summit, you can enjoy a broad view of the surrounding peaks and a large part of the Aosta Valley. The summit can also be climbed in winter on skis.

Parrotspitze

The Parrotspitze or Punta Parrot is a mountain in the Pennine Alps, located in the massif of the Monte Rosa, along the border between Italy and Switzerland. Presenting the mountain as a long and sharp ridge arranged in a west-east direction, it is possible to ascend it easily starting from the Col del Lys or from the Col Sesia, the col that separates it from the nearby Punta Gnifetti. A longer and steeper ascent unfolds up the Valais face starting from the Fratelli Gugliermina hut.

Rifugio Elisabetta

The Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro refuge is a refuge located in the municipality of Courmayeur, at the bottom of Val Veny, in the Graian Alps, at 2,195 m asl. It was built in 1953. Thirty years later, in 1983, it was significantly expanded. It is named after the hiker Elisabetta Soldini Montanaro, who tragically died in the mountains. It is the stopping point of the Alta via Della Valle d'Aosta n. 2, trail hiking in the Valle d'Aosta.

Testa del Rutor

The Testa del Rutor, also known locally as the Ruiter, is a mountain in the high Graian Alps3 486 m. The summit is located near the Italian-French watershed which descends southwards from the Piccolo San Bernardo hill. It is totally located in the Italian territory in the territories of the municipalities of Valgrisenche and La Thuile. One of the nice trekking destination and also a good viewpoint too.
