The Alternative Bear Park Worbis is an open-air facility on the outskirts of Leinefelde-Worbis in Eichsfeld , Thuringia , where bears , wolves and various other animal species live. The park was created in 1996 on the initiative of the “Aktion Bärenhilfswerk” on the site of the former communal zoo.
