Fesch Museum
Museums
The Fesch museum is located in Ajaccio, the birthplace of its founder, the cardinal Joseph Fesch, it is housed in the 19th-century Palais Fesch on Rue Cardinal Fesch. It has the largest collections of Italian paintings, with three departments being particularly well represented: the Italian Primitives, Roman Baroque painting, and Neapolitan Baroque painting.

The Genoese towers of Corsica are a series of coastal defenses built by the Republic of Genoa between the 15th and 18th centuries. There are around 70 towers still standing, and they are spread across the island. The towers were used as both lookout posts and defensive fortifications, and they were often manned by a small garrison of soldiers. In addition to their military function, the towers also served as a way for Genoa to assert its control over Corsica.

The Cerbicale Islands constitute a small archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea located in Corse-du-Sud, in the town of Porto-Vecchio, off the Punta Cerbicale. Since 1999, they have belonged to the Bouches de Bonifacio Reserve, which is the largest reserve in mainland France. To preserve the richness of the avian and underwater fauna, the Cerbicale Islands were set up as a nature reserve in 1981.

Lac de Melu is a lake in Corsica, France. At an elevation of 1,710 meters, its surface area is 0.065 square kilometers. The lake is the source of the Restonica River. It is an hour's walk from the Grotelle sheepfold. It is a nice trekking destination and also this place has so many specialties too. A new bacterial species, Polynucleobacter meluiroseus, was discovered in the lake and also named after the lake.

It is an artificial lake, created by an EDF dam built-in 1958-1960, and put into service in 1965. These shores have been designed to create leisure areas, pedal boats, boats, fishermen, thatched huts, beach.

A famous majestic lighthouse with a size of 16.5 m, masonry stone walls, overlooking a rectangular-shaped building overlooking the sea to a height of 99.50 m. NAPOLEON BONAPARTE was born in this MAjestic castle in Ajaccio in 1769. Napoleon's birthplace, a large and simple residence, is now a museum devoted to the Bonaparte family in Corsica. The visit starts on the second floor with a historical evocation of Corsica in the 18th century and is followed by an introduction to members of the family. In 1967, the house was made into a museum and declared a national museum.

The Monte Incudine is a 2136 meter high mountain on the French island of Corsica. The mountain is the highest mountain that lies entirely in the department of Corse-du-Sud. The Monte Renoso and the south flank of the Maniccia (2425 m) at the Monte Rotondo are on the border of both departments. From the top of the mountain, one has a view of almost all the mountains of Corsica, and in good weather, Elba and the Italian mainland can be seen.

The Monte Renoso is the highest peak in the massif of the same name occupying the area between the neck Vizzavona and Verde. Culminating at 2,352 meters above sea level, it is located in the municipalities of Bastelica , Bocognano and Ghisoni. The Monte Renoso massif is the third highest on the island, after those of Monte Cinto and Monte Rotondo , in front of the Monte Incudine massif. it is also a new trekking destination too.
