The Mont Noir is a hill rising to 152 m altitudes in the mountains of Flanders a few hundred meters from the Franco-Belgian border and a few kilometers from Bailleul. It takes its name from the presence of a high concentration of black pine in the wood that covers this relief. The mountain is on the border between Belgium and France and depends on the municipality of Saint-Jans-Cappel. One of the nice location for a trek and also it gives a pamo=noramic view of this beautiful area.
The Marchand dune national nature reserve is a national nature reserve located in the Hauts-de-France region. Classified in 1974, it occupies an area of 83 hectares and protects one of the dunes of Flanders. Access to the site is free by staying on the marked trails. The reception is located at the Ferme du Nord in Zuydcoote. One of the nice trekking destination and also you can find a nice time there.
