Saalburg

A Roman fort located on the Taunus's central ridge, northwest Bad Homburg. It is a cohort fort, part of the Limes Germanicus, the Roman linear German provinces border fortification. The fort includes a museum, Saalburg is the most completely reconstructed Roman fort in Germany.
