Bridges to explore in Schwyz
The canton of Schwyz is a canton in central Switzerland between the Alps in the south, Lake Lucerne to the west, and Lake Zürich in the north, centered on and named after the town of Schwyz.
The Skywalk is one of Europe’s longest pedestrian suspension bridges, 58 meters above the Lauitobel Gorge. Hikers and walkers are drawn to Europe’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. There are various circular trails starting from the other side of the gorge, including “der Pfad”, which leads across the Halsbann up to the summit and back down to Herrenboden.
