Calderglen Zoo

Calderglen Zoo opened in 1982 and is home to over 50 different species, some of which are critically endangered. Being about an acre in size, the zoo specialises in small creatures. You'll discover meerkats, families of monkeys, noisy Kookaburras, cheeky Ring-tailed Coati, and Burrowing Owls. Come and meet the smallest tortoise and the rarest bird.

Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh Zoo, is an 82-acre non-profit zoological park in the Corstorphine area of Edinburgh, Scotland. It receives over 600,000 visitors a year, which makes it Scotland's second most popular paid-for tourist attraction, after Edinburgh Castle. As well as catering to tourists and locals, the zoo is involved in many scientific pursuits, such as captive breeding of endangered animals, researching into animal behaviour, and active participation in various conservation programs around the world.

Five Sisters Zoo

Five Sisters Zoo is a fun all year round great family day out with over 196 species of mammals birds & reptiles. There’s lion's, lemurs and lynx, bears, meerkats and monkeys, parrots and porcupines, bat earred foxes, bunnies, reindeers and raccoons to name but a few, all adding up to an exciting, educational and great value visit for all the family.

Highland Wildlife Park

The Highland Wildlife Park is a 105-hectare (260-acre) safari park and zoo. Visitors experience Scottish wildlife past and present in the setting of the Scottish Highlands. On show are a variety of animals found in present-day Scotland, animals that were once present, hundreds, even thousands of years ago. Visitors drive around the Main Reserve in their cars.
