A beautiful lake located in the southeastern Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. The lake is part of the headwaters of the Otta river system which flows southeast into the lake Breiddalsvatnet and on into Oppland county. The mountain Dalsnibba is located immediately northwest of the lake, and there is a road leading to the top that begins on the northwest side of the lake. This is a 2 square kilometer lake and is 3,333 ft above sea level.
Eikesdalsvatnet is a lake in Molde Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lake is long and narrow, roughly 18 kilometers in length, and it is the largest lake in Møre og Romsdal county. The village of Eikesdalen is located at the southern end of the lake. The average depth is 89 meters such that most of the lake's volume is below sea level.
Hornindalsvatnet is Norway's and Europe's deepest lake, officially measured to a depth of 514 metres. Its surface is 53 metres above sea level, which means that its bottom is 461 metres below sea level. It is one of the main tourist attraction in this area and a lot of people visits this place every day.
Norddalsfjorden is a branch off of the main Storfjorden in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The fjord is located in Fjord Municipality and a small part is also in Stranda Municipality. The famous Geirangerfjorden branches off to the west from the Sunnylvsfjorden. It is one of the famous tourist destinations.
