Kvitfjell ski resort

This is a ski enthusiast’s paradise. Peace, quiet, and numerous prepared runs allow you to perfect your skiing without the queues or masses of tourists. The snow arrives in October and stays until late April, and we offer skiing and snowboarding to suit everyone. Slopes of all types and for every skill level.

Lysgårdsbakkene Hoppanlegg

This is one of the city's major landmarks. Its facility consists of a large and a small ski jumping hill - HS 140and HS 90. Both hills are equipped with a plastic coating and are used frequently both in summer and in wintertime. During summer, you can take the chairlift from the bottom of the hill up to the top and enjoy the view from the Ski Jump Tower. This place is also frequently used for so many events.

Sjusjøen

Sjusjøen is a cross country skiing destination in the municipality of Ringsaker in Hedmark. Situated on the mountain plateau south of Sjusjøen is Hedmarksvidda. The area is located with forest and mountain terrain about 20 km east of the centre of Lillehammer. It has numerous cabins, a hotel and a youth hostel for accommodation.
