National Parks to explore in Samar
Samar, formerly named as Western Samar, is a province in the Philippines. Samar province is hilly, with mountain peaks ranging from 200 to 800 meters high and narrow strips of lowlands, which tend to lie in coastal peripheries.
Sohoton Natural Bridge Natural Park is divided by the Sohoton river which is surrounded by thick, lush jungle covering majestic limestone cliffs. The Natural Park is situated on the island of Samar in the Eastern Visayas and can be accessed easily from Tacloban city. The entire area is 455,700 hectares, home of the various wildlife, rivers, and cave connections.
