ValkenburgThe Valkenburg cable car is a chairlift in the municipality of Valkenburg a/d Geul . The cable car takes you from the edge of the city to the 68 m higher Wilhelminatoren , a 30 m high lookout tower on the Heunsberg . The lift is part of recreation park A GoGo Valkenburg, which includes a toboggan run , miniature golf , observation tower, etc.The chairlift was built in 1954, but has since been almost completely renovated. The lift was built by the Austrian/Swiss company Doppelmayr.
