Ferdinand E. Marcos Presidential Center

The Ferdinand Edralin Marcos Presidential Center, Ilocos Norte houses a large collection of Marcos Memorabilia, possibly the largest in the country. It shows Marcos through the years, all the way until he ran for president in 1965. Prior to becoming a museum and housing the late dictator’s remains, it was the ancestral home of the Marcoses. Malacañang of the North

Malacañang of the North is a 5-hectare property that overlooks the serene Paoay Lake. The place used to be the residence of late president Ferdinand Marcos and his family when they visit Ilocos Norte during their regime. It is one of the 29 houses that the Marcos Family was able to build during their two decades regime. It was now transformed into a museum of the late president’s memorabilia after Marcos was deposed in 1986 and died a few years later.
